Description

Firewalls have been implemented on March, 9th 2016.

An enemy NPC or another player can now hack into your ship's systems to compromise or temporarily disable them. In the case of a player, it requires using the Cyber Warfare Terminal with installed Chipset items, which can hack, boost or repair the various firewalls.


Affected Systems

The following subsystems can be hacked to temporarily disable or compromise them:

  • Access: Gives temporary access to teleporters and doors on a ship
  • Generators: Temporarily disables all power generators
  • Engines: Temporarily disables all engines
  • Thrusters: Temporarily disables all thrusters
  • Life Support: Temporarily disables all life support systems
  • Weapons: Temporarily disables all weapon systems
  • Shields: Temporarily disables all shield function
