Description
Provides in-game functionality for system-wide broadcasting of a short text message. Can be utilized to broadcast distress or other message. Click in the display and type a short message, use the Start or Stop Broadcast button to enable/disable. The message will be visible in the HUD of any piloted ship, throughout the system, friend or foe. Longer messages are accepted by the unit but will appear truncated. Permission levels to enable/disable and edit can be set as with most equipment. It is suggested this item is grouped with life support and other mission critical items, in a separate power group with solar supply, to insure you can use it without fuel.
